Escape to sun-shining Malaysia Nov 27

It’s getting cold isn’t it?! Still not sure where to go for Christmas? With the Euro staying strong, and being equally cold, I would rule out Europe this year. A great place to consider is Southeast Asia. They have great services, less than 10 hour flight away and plenty of sunshine and holiday resorts to choose from. To look for diversity, I would highly recommend Malaysia, what I like to call the jungle. Malaysia has many ancient forests and terrains, and an array of national parks for trekking and camping. And thanks to its tropical weather, it also offers a good selection of luxury resort for pampering the body and mind. They have something for everyone.

For Golfing fans out there, the Club at Saujana resort in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, is a new exclusive club that have two award winning 18-hole golf courses.

If you’re just looking for a relaxing spa vacation, then Pangkor Laut Resort is the ideal location to go. This award winning spa village provides a variety of spa treatments inspired by the West and East.

Of course, we shouldn’t let nature go to waste, if you want to explore the Jungle or befriend an Orang utan, you can take on nature rainforest or jungle tours. Or checkout Cameron Highlands, which is just a quick drive away from the capital, and enjoy acres after acres of natural landscaped villages and take part in the traditional Malaysian lifestyle experience.

Plus, while you’re waiting for your next day of golf or next spa treatment, try experience the true Malaysian lifestyle and checkout it’s food stalls and shopping malls. Malaysia has a great range of different cuisines from Chinese, Indian, Indonesian, Thai and the list goes on. For English travellers, language is not a big barrier in Malaysia, as most people speaks fluent/some English.
